[philmont] NAYLE

A couple of our Scouts appear to be headed to NAYLE later this summer. They
have not gotten all the packets yet. We've scoured the website and gotten
what we can from it but still have lots of questions. No one in our Troop
has been to Philmont before (for ANY activity) so there is no corporate
knowledge to turn to.

* They use backpacks so we're assumming there is a level of "trek"
involved... any input on how far?

* Does NAYLE use the Philmont meal system?

* Anything to take that was a good idea but not on the equipmetn lists?

* Other words of wisdom to pass along?

* Suggestions on precamp shakedown activities?

Thanks,

Chris Counts
