OK, I can't resist puffing out my proud parent chest. My Ranger son Brian called Wednesday after finishing his Ranger training. He said that they woke up Wednesday morning at Crater Later with it snowing. He said that there were 6 to 10 feet drifts of snow at Apache Springs.

As Yogi used to say "it ain't over 'till it's over". Philweather is just that Philweather.

For years my family has traveled to Colorado in mid July through Cimarron canyon for the express reason of the posibility of a snowball fight on the pass west of Angle Fire. We have been accomodated more often than not.

Someone (not Yogi) once said "be prepared". That's pretty good advise.
